Week 6: Day- 6 hrs. Total- ?
I worked on cutting and organizing videos this week. While doing this it occurred to me that maybe it's not the best thing to cut an interview. That is one question i need to ask in the video class I am taking. I began to work on the layout for the brochure. I didn't get a lot of the writing the information in but did start to lay everything out and get the pictures in the right place. I would have to say that when I was working on teh brochure it was more of me trying to get a feel for what I wanted to do with the brochure and what I could do. Next week I plan on diving into creating a professional brochure.
I have not asked my mentor the prompt yet but have full intentions of doing so soon. I believe that this question will be a little confusing and complicated since the work is in part voluntary as well as partly connect to a job.

Working at St. Mary's
Week 5: day = 15 hrs. total = ?
This week I went to St. Mary's, were my mentor works. I got up early and and took BART to Berkeley were i got picked up by my mentor. We drove to St. Mary's were I worked on the project in her office. I also met with another member of the Anapra Education Project and discussed the website and future plans together. The whole day I worked on polishing the website as well as finalizing it. Once the day was up at St. Mary's I worked on translating some interviews with my Spanish tutor and after that went to my college class to learn how to create a professional short documentary.
For the major project required for the WLE I have decided to have the website alone count as the main project. I have finished the website and am now working on the brochure and 8 min. documentary for my internship. My mentor and I have created a tight schedule/timeline to follow in order to get all of the long, detailed and complicated things required done.
